DON'T WANT TO TAKE IT HOME? WANT IT TO HELP THOSE IN NEED? The Bicycle Recycle Program is 10 years old. We have given away over 2,900 bikes to those in need through such places as:
Adams County School District #14 African Community Center Aurora Mental Health Big Brothers/Big Sisters Christ Body Ministries Colorado Aids Project Colorado Special Olympics Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Denver Center for Crime Victims Inner City Health Clinic Turnabout Program Volunteers of America
We never charge these organizations or those in need for the bikes we refurbish and give to them. And, with every bike, we also give a new u-lock to prevent the bike from being stolen. As you know, it is just 2 wheels, but a bike can be so empowering! For many of the recipients these bikes are the only means of transportation.
Over the last several years, vendors and individuals such as yourselves have played a key role in supporting our endeavor through generous donations of bicycles and various bike parts not sold at the annual VeloSwap.
Take a moment at the end of this year's swap to sort through what you didn't sell and wish to donate to a good (great?!) cause.
As usual, we will be parked immediately outside the exit ramp with our sky-blue GMC pick-up truck and small trailer to receive your donations with open arms.

Zipper Pulls
The Schrader bicycle valve, while being an excellent device to maintain your tire pressure, doubles remarkably well as zipper pull. This item was designed out of the necessity of a zipper pull for our Messenger bag line. With a bunch of leftover valve stems, some sweat, and a bit of imagination, we came up with a useful pull easily affixed to most zippers. Put it on your luggage, your rain jacket or your key chain, but we don’t recommend your fly.
Bicycle Tire Drive: Jai Tire Industries will accept old bicycle tires for recycling. Drop your tires off at the designated tire drop in the EcoVillage (booth #20) at the front of the show. http://www.jaitire.com/ Yellow Designs Stunt Team:
